About Us
Last November I had the good fortune to attend a 10 day meditation retreat. On the flight home I experienced a moment of crystal clarity. It was as though I could look down and see the path of my life right under my feet. In that moment I knew that I was to create a place on Orcas where I could share all that I value in healing. I immediately began making inquiries, and by April began the construction of Ama Tara Healing and Meditation Center.
I wanted to create a place where people would feel a sense of balance and relaxation, just being there. I want people to feel that their healing session begins the moment they walk in the door.
I wanted to create a place where we could support each other’s spiritual unfoldment by being present and sharing in meditation.
I wanted a place for my private practice where I felt free to focus fully on offering all that I could to support people’s healing journeys. I wanted a place where I felt uplifted and supported- a place that I loved to be.
So, here we are: Ama Tara Healing and Meditation Center. Your place on Orcas to share in the discovery of our potentials for perfection in health and spirit. I hope you will feel welcome to come in anytime we’re open.
